One of the first things Heather did this morning was book for Harry Potter as the tickets were put online this morning. We managed to book for Wednesday at 6.00 but we might be hungry as it is 2.35 long.
After breakfast and walking the dog we set off to visit the Fountain Gardens just north of Tauranga. The forecast was for heavy rain in the afternoon so we though we might manage to see something.
We missed the turn for the gardens and so carried on to visit Wahi which is very pretty but by the time we arrived it was starting to rain and I was the only one to venture out of the car to take a picture of the beach.
On the way back we dropped in to see the Fountain Gardens which are very pretty but as Heather is sick of hearing 'Will be much prettier in the summer'
We carried on toward Tauranga and went to Bethlehem for lunch a small suburb of Tauranga.
We then carried on to Papamoa to get some refill scrapbook pages for the scrapbook Heather is making of her time here.
By the time we got back we had managed to wast a whole day doing nothing much - I really don't like the winter here even if it is the worst they have had for 15 years it really stops you from doing things.
We lit the fire and played Guess Who as it was now raining really hard and no chance of taking Totty for her afternoon walk.
We had a lovely roast dinner and watched Shrek 3 and so it goes on! Here is hoping for better weather tomorrow!
