I don't know what happened to Monday and Tuesday they have just flown over. I did all my ironing in nearly one go listening to a talking book - just got shirts to do! Had a call to say our boxes would be delivered on Tuesday so that was something to look forward to.
The boxes arrived at 11.00 and I started to unpack them. Hair dye at last and Tea Tree, that will help the bites. I now have my teapot, garlic press and chopping board - funny the things you miss! It will be nice to have our own towels, too. We have so many clothes and coat hangers, we are never going to wear all these clothes! Jon has brought suits and ties - I haven't seen anyone wearing a tie so far.
Totty was very pleased to see her bed and toys again.
I had some sausages in the freezer that I thought I ought to use and so we had a bbq. The only way I can describe the sausages here is "solid". If I could get the recipe for Newmarket sausages I wonder if I could get a butcher to make them????
And so another two fun filled days have gone by. Two years will fly by at this rate! I like the weekends best. I'm not unhappy, just bored.
