Janet and John had a good sleep and were up early to make some Skype calls to their daughters in UK. I had a chat to our girls and was told it was snowing and the weather was very cold.

We had breakfast on the deck and all too soon it was time to say goodbye to Janet and John. Janet is such a lovely house guest she even cleaned the bathroom before she left! They have now gone down to Rotorua for two days. I'm sure they will have a wonderful time on the rest of their stay.

I took the dog out and put the washing on before having another chat to Heather.

Jon came home for lunch and to get his case, his flight to Blenheim is at 4.45 and he goes to Nelson tomorrow before flying home tomorrow night. Not sure how tonight will go. I am not yet used to the house noises but I will be fine unless the dog barks.

We are going to look at a car for me on Wednesday - fingers crossed.

Took Totty out for her evening walk and called Bronwyn to check shopping was still on for tomorrow.

Had dinner and watched TV. Bedtime time now and I feel fine, the wine must have helped!
