Got all my washing done today and had a tidy up as Seleena, the landlady, is coming to collect some things before she goes up to Auckland to start her university course.
We went over to look at some cars but didn't find anything. I had to get more contact lens solution as our boxes are still not here so we had to go to Bay Fair. The new Specsavers there still don't have their own brand in so I had to get some from the chemist which fortunately had a pretty good special offer on. I needed to get some treats for Totty for her classes that start this Thursday so we once again went to the supermarket.
We had lunch and Seleena turned up. She was very happy with how the house was looking and is pleased we are going to stay here for the year and probably two if Jon stays on. I couldn't face moving and starting all over again now that I know some of the neighbours I want to get to know them better.
For the rest of the day we just lolled around and enjoyed the sun.
We took Totty out to Welcome Bay in the evening and found another lovely walk and she was quite tired when she got back.
After our dinner of lamb shanks in tomato and basil we watched The Queen and then went to bed. Back to routine next week. I am now up to date with my blog again
