Out fish and chips last night was really good and only cost £2.60 as we are now down to a half a scoop of chips and that is still plenty!
The torrential rain, which was forecast, started about two in the morning. It is easy to know when it starts as the rain makes such a noise on the tin roof it wakes you up. There is not much you can or want to do in such terrible weather so we stayed in. It is very hard to gt Totty out to do her "business" as she hates the rain so much.
It rained and it rained and it rained and the wind was terrible, we have never seen anything like it.
We watched three episodes of Roots which was very good.
The rain finally stopped about nine o'clock and as you can see from the photo we had a lovely sky.
