Managed to get the sheets in the machine and washed and out before taking Totty to the vet for her kennel cough booster at 9.30. The vet wanted her to have all her jabs so that they are all done at the same time. I explained to him that if we did that she would be due in Feb next year when we will be in the UK and as they were all brought forward last year to get them all in line I decided it was not a good idea so she just had kennel cough which the kennels are asking for even though it isn't due. They seem to have a big problem with kennel cough here in the summer so best to be safe than sorry and she does spend a lot of time in there, poor thing. Still after this next rip on Thursday she won't be back there till Easter.
When I got back Kirsty rang me for a chat. I told her it should be her New Year's resolution to keep in touch with me a bit more and so far it is working! I was also chatting to Heather on MSN at the same time. She is having her wisdom tooth out on Wednesday and is really worried about it and would very much like me to be with her! I keep telling her it is not as bad as it sounds, I hope she will be OK.
I heard a big bang when I was on the PC and Totty jumped up and ran out to the deck and when I looked over towards the bypass the traffic was slowing down so I assumed there had been an accident. I then heard police cars so I phoned Jon to say he might be better staying in the office for lunch but then after 20 minutes the traffic started to move and I called him back to say it was OK. He said when he passed there was a car in a ditch by the bridge but he couldn't see any other vehicle so don't know what happened.
After lunch I did my ironing and caught up with Neighbours I am now up to date at last!
I called Janice to ask if she would be going to Lions tomorrow and arranged to pick her up, it seems like a long time since I went to a meeting. She was telling me about the kennels she takes her dog to and said it is where the vet takes his so I suppose that is a good recommendation. I think I will go up and have a look and see what I think and maybe give them a try next time we need to.
We had some nice fish for dinner tonight. I have never bough it before and it was more of a pink colour like fresh tuna and I will certainly buy it again.
WEATHER
Very hot and slightly humid this morning getting hotter during the day, clouded over in the afternoon but still very hot.
