We don't rush about in the mornings these days and don't get Totty out till 9.30ish. Down in the park the tide was in and very high. After dashing off after the dog the other day Totty was back to her usual scared of the water self. She did eventually go in at the shallow part. I don't mind as sometimes the water is very messy with leaves and sea lettuce that comes in.
After our walk we went to the tip to get rid of our rubbish and then onto Classic Flyer's to have coffee. We then went into Bunnings DIY to take one of the pots of deck stain back as we had bought too much. We bought a watering can as we only have a small jug to water the herbs on the deck and it takes a long time.
We then went down to the Mount shopping area. It was very busy as the Sea Princess cruise ship was in. I found a nice had with a floppy brim, just what I need. It has such a lovely holiday feel down there.
We then went to Bay Fair to look for a new swimming costume for me but couldn't find one. We bought a lovely, white, fluffy bear which sings Happy Christmas. This will eventually go with all our other singing Christmas toys back in the UK. The girls will hate it.
We finally found a new strip light for the dressing room so we can now see what we are going to wear!
Back for a late lunch and then Jon pottered around in the garden and I answered emails before bringing in the sheets and duvet cover and ironing them.
After a nice walk with Totty Jon cooked a BBQ.
I will have to get organised tomorrow and think about what we need to take on holiday with us.
WEATHER.
Very warm and sunny with clear skies this morning. Clouded over a bit this afternoon but still very warm. Lovely evening, no wind, very warm.
