We didn't manage to get away early today as our neighbours were packing a trailer to go away camping and we couldn't get across the driveway.
We went to Te Puia thermal park and as the 12.15 cultural show was full had to book for the 3.15 show. We had coffee first and then walked around the park but had to wait for a long time to see the Pohuto geyser go up but it was worth it.
We went into the kiwi house and did manage to see a Kiwi bird pecking around with his long beak.
We then had lunch and did more walking and were very glad when it was 3.15 and we could go and sit down and watch the show which was not as good as the other two we have seen there.
We got home by 5.00 today so Totty was fine and we took her out for a walk and then came back and we had a very good bbq and it was still very warm.

Cloudy but with lots of hot sun.
