Friday

We were both up early as Gareth was coming early and as he was going to be replacing bedroom doors we had to be up and ready. just the morning I could have turned over!

I had a busy morning as I had to go and make sure Rene had completed her form, her nephew was there so I had to make sure she has asked him for her sister's address and she had also remembered Edna's surname so it was ready to post.

I then went to take the baby clothes and Moses basket to Mary so that she could return them to her daughter and daughter in law, more stuff from Jane's house.

I then went over to Jane's house and started to clean windows while she got on with more packing. Riley was again playing and had a sleep and then a feed but is missing his mum's attention.

I left at 2.30 as I wanted to go to the post office and also to Tesco to buy some meals for Heather this weekend as we are going away and she is still restricted with what she can do so ready meals are the best option.

As I was about to go into the post office I was stopped by a camera crew and had a microphone pushed under my nose by a Japanese man, well I think he was Japanese but could have been Korean but that area of the world. He spoke to me in Japanese and I looked vague and then the guy behind did the interpreting. I was not sure which one to look at.

They were asking about the murders of Holly and Jessica which must be about 12 years ago now. I told them I wasn't from Soham but that it was very tragic for all concerned. A few more questions and that was it. Quite a strange thing to happen.

I then went into the post office and posted my cards before going to Tesco.

A quick trip around the shop and then home for a cuppa.

Gareth was still at home and had had to take off all the door jams as they are not square. The man that built this house has a lot to answer for. It was his first build and a lot of mistakes were made. Gareth was not able to finish and will need to come back in the morning.

I cooked the dinner and Heather came home we sat down to eat but she was in such a bad mood about having to get up early in the morning that dinner was very strained and she didn't eat much. Patience! It is times like this that I will be glad when she moves out.

We were just watching TV and the phone rang and it was a friend from NZ which was a lovely surprise and we had a lovely chat.

I then watched I'm a Celebrity but Jon went to bed.

Another early start in the morning. We intended to leave about 11.00 but not sure how long Gareth will be here. Heather is now going out to the gym in the morning but I suppose we can leave him to lock up if he hasn't finished when we are ready.

Probably no blog now till Monday night.
