As it was raining first thing this morning Totty only had a quick walk around the block before I went off to Red Cross.
It was only Bianca and I this morning and we were very busy and so didn't get much time for a chat OR a coffee. I really miss my coffee mid morning. I was very good again and didn't buy anything for me.
I then went on to do my supermarket shop and then rushed home to get lunch. I had volunteered to do a collection for the Arthritis Association outside one of the supermarkets. It was only 2.00 - 3.00 but when I got there to take over I was the only one so thought I would have a very boring hour on my own. But the Kiwis are very friendly and I had a lot of chats with some very generous people and the time soon passed. The coordinator arrived to pack up and I had a long chat to her. She worked in England for two years and met her husband there and they have been back living her for 15 years so that was interesting, she gave me her card to get in touch if I want to.
I then went home and took Totty out for a proper walk and then was happy to sit down with a nice cup of tea and a read of my book - I am getting through lots of books here.
We had snapper fish and chips for dinner and it was very good.
I have been having lots of headaches recently and I think it must be due to the decreased dose of HRT yesterday and today was horrible. I didn't even have a glass of wine with my dinner tonight!
