After two days of no walks Totty really enjoyed her walk this morning.
Heather and I went to Kiwi 360 and had a look around the gift shop and had a coffee and an iced chocolate. We didn't do the tractor tour as there are no kiwifruit on the vines to see but she got the general idea.
We then went on to a little place called Maketu and had a little walk by the beach.
Our next stop was to a centre that has lots of bees and makes lots of products from honey and beeswax etc. It wasn't the most exciting place I have ever been to.
We then went to Papamoa and found a cafe and had lunch before a quick look around the shops and then back to the house and not a drop of rain!
We took Totty out for a walk in the park and then I did some much needed housework. It is amazing the difference one extra person in a house makes but I wouldn't have it any other way. The days are flying by so fast I can hardly believe it.
Jon's flight was on time and he got home about 5.30.
