Jon put fresh coal on the fire before we went to bed last night so it was nice and warm in the living room when we got up today and it made such a difference.
I met the corgi and his owner this morning and had a chat and a play, it is good that the dogs get on well now.
Heather and I went into Tauranga and she had a look around the shops to compare the fashions and the prices. We had a drink down by the harbour in the sun but there is a definite chill in the air now.
We went and booked seats to see Blood Brothers which the boy's and girl's colleges are putting on next week, it won't be London but I thought it might be worth seeing.
We went home for lunch as Jon was coming back and in the afternoon we went down to Fraser Cove and had a look around more shops before doing the weekly shop. My feet are killing me, I am not used to being this active!
I have managed to keep the fire going all day so the house is warm, well the living room is! Jon will be pleased he does not have to light the fire from scratch tonight.
And it is Friday so it is fish and chips!
