Last day in UK

This will be short as we are due to board soon.
A good night's sleep and up early to say goodbye to Heather as she had to go to work. It was very, very hard as she was so upset and has not been good all day, bless her.

My friend Mary came round to say goodbye and then Kirsty, James and Jon and Ii went to the pub down the road for lunch as we had nothing in and it was very good.
As we got back Rene was just going out so I ran over to say goodbye and got very wet. She was off to see her sister who is 'comfortable'. She was very upset and crying and I felt so bad as she is so frail. I was happy I caught her though.
Jane and Jason came over and we had a cuppa and a piece of wedding cake - yummy.
4.30 came round very fast and a very nice Mercedes came to pick us up. It was not so hard saying goodbye to the girls as it was to Heather.
We had a good drive down and the driver was good and I listened to an audiobook.
Check in was fast and we were just two kilos over so no problems.

Now sitting in the lounge on second glass of champagne and have been emailing Heather. Hopefully she will settle down in a couple of days but then K & J go away but she might get a friend to come and stay some nights with her.
I have very mixed feelings leaving this time, probably because we have had such a good time. However, reality means the fun ends and everyone has to go back to work
