A lovely Saturday

I went to a stretch class yesterday afternoon at the gym and they told me it was a good class to end the week as it was very relaxing and it was true. However, this morning I feel like I have run up and down the Mount as my legs ache so much but I am sure it is good for me.

After breakfast we took Totty for her walk and she walked all the way to the bottom and back with just some gentle pulling!!

We went down to Bayfair for coffee and sat outside Zone in the lovely sunshine. I love this temperature as it is just right and not too hot.

When Jon bought his new phone last week we bought a Norton security system as the man in the shop said we should have security on our phones. Jon had not been able to install it so we went back to Harvey Norman to the technical department to ask them how to do it. We dealt with a very nice English guy and he also got very frustrated at how to do it but he eventually managed to get it on for Jon but not mine. As we were leaving he said not to worry as there should be no problem with mine which led us to believe the other chap had sold us the product and we didn't really need it!!

We should have taken part in the Relay for Life lap of honour for cancer survivors and their care givers but due to the length of time we spent sorting the phone out it was too late and I felt really bad about it as we were due to have afternoon tea after the lap. Never mind it couldn't be helped.

We got back home and had lunch and then Jon enjoyed some cricket which is not going well!!

I spent the afternoon cooking and preparing the dinner for tonight with Des and 'Shaz' (Sharon).

Jon was really good and did all the cleaning for me and probably does a better job than I do!!

We had a lovely evening and they arrived at 6.30 and as it was so nice we sat out on the deck for drinks and our starter and came in for our roast. One leg of lamb down still two in the freezer to go!!

They left about 11.00 as they are going to Whangamata to the beach hop tomorrow and need to be up early. I hadn't done any washing up between courses so there was so so much to do and we didn't finish till gone midnight!!
