Phew

I managed to do a lot this morning, washing, cleaning and walk the dog before going across to the Mount to have my hair cut.

I then went to meet Bronwyn for coffee but she stood me up. I missed a call on my mobile from her but she had got the wrong day. Never mind I was going for a coffee anyway.

I went to buy some new doggy walking shoes as I noticed yesterday why mine feel very odd to walk in - the top is coming away from the sole and the sole has holes in. I have lost count of the pairs I have worn out. I didn't find any so I will have to use trainers for now.

I got back and made lunch for Heather, Jon has a board meeting. When she went back I was getting ready to go out and pick up some books and deliver some book sale leaflets and Jon called to say that his boss has decided not to buy the house so we have to move.

I spoke to some estate agents and they say it is too soon to put our names down to look for houses as by January they will have gone. I just hope there are some around when we come to look OR the house does not sell in which case we will have longer to find one. The agent is coming tomorrow and I have a list of questions to ask about open home etc.

I have decided not to get stressed about it, there is nothing we can do. I am not opposed to moving it is just the time factor and the fact we will have Malcolm here and Heather getting ready to return to the UK. A bad case of 'bad timing'

I went out to collect the books and also delivered lots of flyers. I have passed the 500 mark now but won't get any more done till we come back from China.

I got back and had a well deserved cup of tea.

I took Tot out and spoke to one of our neighbours and she was telling me why the big Norfolk pine tree is going to be cut down. It is a protected tree and grows on the boundary of a house near here. The roots are causing all sorts of problems for drains and electrics but it has taken a year to get permission to cut it down so hopefully there will be no objections.

I got back and did some housework to make things look tidy for tomorrow and then did my ironing.

Jon came home with all the China tickets and information, so much to read and so little time to read it!! All looks really good though.

Had some nice Thai curry fish for dinner. Heather came home late from her netball game and had a fish finger sandwich!!!!

I have my appointment with the gynaecologist tomorrow so hope all goes well with that.

I really need to sort some clothes out!!!!
