We both had to wear jumpers this morning when we walked Totty but the water was lovely and calm down in Rotary Park.
I managed to get to speak to Rene last night and she told me Fran had been in hospital with pneumonia but is out now. I called Joyce but she was out and just as I was logging off Malcolm logged in so I was able to have a quick chat with him and he told me his op had gone well.
Heather called this morning and we had a long chat with her so it was very late by the time we got into town for coffee. Lots of places are closed today and adverts are not allowed on TV but we found a nice place down in the harbour and had a lovely coffee and will certainly go back for lunch one day.
We then came home and sorted clothes out and after lunch I did the packing and Jon went to the gym so we are all ready to go in the morning. I can't believe it is a jumbo just to go to Fiji, I suspect it must go on to USA.
We took Totty out and we met Viv with Poppy and had a walk round the park but Totty really doesn't like to play with other dogs.
Fortunately the fish and chip shop was open so we had our usual Friday night dinner.
Kirsty called to say they had taken Tom to the vet last week and had been given steroid for his sore eye but the vet thinks it is a growth and will need surgery. As he is so old the question is do we put him through it? Kirsty will take him back on Tuesday and have a chat with the vet as to what is the best thing to do. She says he is eating well and does not appear to be in any discomfort so we will have to wait and see.
WEATHER
After a cloudy and chilly start this morning the sun came out and it was another lovely day.
