I took Totty out for a walk early as I had my keep fit class. I got a bit wet but not too much.
The class was hot again and all the ladies were saying it was difficult to sleep at night. This summer is certainly hotter than it was last year when we arrived. Keep fit ladies are having a lunch on 2 March which I have put my name down for.
I went straight home after the class and it had started to rain quite a lot but just drizzle which won't help the farmers or the gardens much.
I caught up with some of the TV I had recorded and did a bit of ironing but other than that nothing much - too hot! I did phone my friend Joan and we chatted for over an hour. She has her son and daughter in law and two children coming out from Canada tomorrow, they are staying for a month which will be lovely for her.
I had an email from Lions about going round the shops and asking for gifts for the raffle for Bride of the Year show in April. I really hated it last time I did it which was not long ago. I emailed back and said it was not very successful and I didn't like doing it but would be happy to donate 3 prizes myself. She did agree with me as she had been out that morning in Tauranga and had not had much success so we will see how it goes.
WEATHER
Wet but very humid this morning dried up later but no sun, still hot and humid
