What a lovely day! I really could get used to this here.
We went out to The Pantry for breakfast which was very nice. On our way back we went to Argos and bought the new folding washing line. Our rotary line is down the garden under the shade of a tree and I get my feet wet from the grass when I hang out the washing not to mention seeing the washing line take centre stage in the garden is not what it should be. I had a lovely fold down line at the side of the house in NZ so Jon did some research and found one that is a rotary line but fixed to the wall and folds down. We can put it at the top by the office and it is in full sun so should get the clothes dry in next to no time.
We got home and Jon put it up and it did look small but I managed to get two full loads out. I am not sure about sheets though.
I then started on the painting and did pretty well with it. It is such hard work doing the top near the coving and takes such a long time.
Jane and Jason came over. Jane to sit and Jason to help Jon move the greenhouse so all go here. Jane brought lunch with her and we sat in the garden in the sun.
Kirsty and James came over a bit later and James stripped all the paper off the stairwell that I had not been able to reach. All in all it was a very productive e day and we are very grateful to James and Jason for all their help.
I bought a crown roast of chicken with garlic butter for our dinner and put it in the halogen oven and they were all wishing they could stay for dinner, but I just cant cope with so many at the moment, soon though!
Dinner was very nice and once again we ate outside!
We both felt very tired after all the work so it was a relatively early night.
WEATHER
Sunny again 24 degrees
