Jon left early to get his 6.50 flight to Auckland then on to Nelson for a meeting and then back across to Wellington tonight before coming home tomorrow evening - good for the air miles.
I took Totty round the block but she really didn't want to walk. I gave her a deers ear as a birthday treat.
Went to my class, the pool felt a bit chilly when we got in but it soon warmed up. Went across for coffee after the class and one of the ladies asked us all if we would like to have a Christmas lunch next week. Of course, we all said yes!!
Les invited Jon and I to her house for a bbq after the Red Cross party on Sunday.
Got home still no police check certificates yet, three weeks now. I sent an email to the girls to check if they had been sent there by mistake.
After lunch I went to meet Angela and we went and sat in the Elms garden for our chat but had to find a seat in the shade as it was too hot.
Back home I dyed my hair, fed the dog and wrapped up the stocking fillers which I should really get in the post ASAP
Dragged the dog round the block again, I wish she would get over whatever it is she can smell on the grass, maybe if we had some rain to wash it away it would help?
Jon phoned to say he had arrived at his hotel in Wellington but was very tired.
Cooked some fish for my dinner and watched TV.
WEATHER
Hot and muggy 24 degrees
