It was too wet this morning so no walk for Totty.
Had to wear my mac this morning to go to the shop, only the second time since I have been here.
Once again we had to sort out the clothes and this week it was the orange marked labels to be removed. Angela was feeling rather fragile this morning and I was explaining to her the meaning of 'burning the candle at both ends'. I wrote it down for her and the meaning and she is going to tell her friends. She really wasn't up to much so she left early to go home for a sleep. I don't think she drinks so it was not alcohol related just tired.
The shop was really busy and it was good when Karina came in to help out. Bianca was in for a short while and told me that Les had been mugged in S Africa but a member of the public had stepped in and so she was OK. She now realises how dangerous life in SA is. You sometimes need to leave situations and then go back to see how bad they are. Hopefully she will be back here soon.
It was very wet when I left the shop and I got drenched walking to the car. I got back in time to make lunch before Jon got home. He told me it was really sunny down near the office and was surprised to see so much rain here - he is only 10 minutes away!
I got stuck in to my ironing this afternoon I had so much again, thank goodness for TV.
I booked tickets for Peter Power a hypnotist over from UK and we saw him on TV and he was very good so we go to that on 19 November.
Took Tot out for a walk when Jon got home as it was a lovely evening. Our neighbours were going off to the school fireworks which included a fete. The fireworks won't start till about 9.00 when it is dark. Not sure we will see them as the trees are in the way, we would need to go and stand on our neighbours deck but I don't think we will bother.
Lots of fireworks when it got dark Totty went mad we had them all around us. I don't remember them being so bad last year. Probably cos it is a Friday night and no work tomorrow people are making a night of it. Poor Totty!
WEATHER
Very wet first thing then dry and 23 degrees
