One more day left at work

Last night I went out to dinner with my friends from the surgery. I thought it was only going to be about 7 of us but when I got to the restaurant, Prezzo, I was very surprised to find quite a large group of friends from the surgery. Sneaky Sonia who organised it! I hadn't asked who was going and she didn't tell me. It was a really lovely evening.
Only one more day left at work now.
I was busy getting my dishes ready for New Year's Eve when the vet rang to say one of Totty's blood results had come back positive and she will need to be re tested on Monday morning! I have to look on the bright side of things and hope it is a false positive as a result of her vaccinations and when she is re tested she will be fine. I can't think of the alternative. We will need to inform the shipping agent just in case she can't go on 16th!
Jon has gone out with Roger and Ian for a curry tonight. He is feeling much better after his virus a curry should just about make him fit.

Well we have had our last Christmas together for at least the next two years. We all enjoyed Christmas Day but Santa had made a terrible mess with paper snow brought in with Jane, Heather and James from De Niro's nightclub! Jon had to go to bed at seven on Christmas night as he was not well- a virus I think. The girls bought us a digital photoframe with lots of photos on the memory card to keep us going in NZ
